I was browsing through whooopsidaisies.lj's archives when I chanced upon the PENTAS:Rahsia's post (I've set all dance entries to Public. You can scroll 'em down.). And I am glad I met these girls; Momma Cipah, Twinny Sha, Khaty, Zubedah, Mai, Diena, Marina and Rad. They sure make dance-studio a fun place to be despite having to wake up early on every Saturday morning for practices. And to Amin the Diva who will be flying off soon, thanks for believing in us.
And I remembered Momma Cipah said this; "No. I know Waany is a strong girl". <3 |

It will be exactly one more month to my eighteenth birthday. And all these while I kept thinking of the things that changed me. I will be turning eighteen soon. Nothing special to be eighteen besides getting to buy ciggs, alcohols/liquor, going to the pub and watching M18 movies. Those are not really important to me because I don't dig those stuffs besides watching movies. I don't cosume them. I stared at the ceiling before I go to sleep everynight thinking for the perfect gift for my birthday until yesterday night whereby the answer was derived.
What do you want for your birthday?
I want everything to be back to the way it used to be. Well, maybe not everything.
Anyone kind enough to give me that?

We turned 40 last thursday, 271207. Happy 40th Month, sweetheart! Thanks for the bouquet of red roses. I was seriously speechless because I don't expect to get one from you (though you used to give me stalks) because you always said that it will wilt and die. Thanks for tolerating me when I kept complaining about my bangs from Pasir Ris to Dhoby Ghaut. Though the movie we watched almost killed us for 2hours, we survived (because quite a number left the theatre). You made me laughed none stop in the theatre with your humming of the theme song of the movie.. Lunching-cum-dinner at ljs was superb thou I had a pretty bad tummyache. Then, we had lighted heart-shaped-scented candles, a heart-shaped brownie and a bouquet of roses beneath the twinkling stars talking about A to Z of almost everything and anything.
Thanks for making these few days a happy happy one for me. And yes, it was indeed a splendid day. Y'know that I don't fancy expensive places to dine in and getting expensive gifts. It's the sincerity and thoughts that counts, baby.

[ 16th November 2007] - Two thumbs up for Pentas;Rahsia which was held at Temasek Polytechnic's last week on Friday. It was my first ever pentas show (Like duh!) and my first ever public show for malay dance. Thanks to all who came to support and also thanks to the rest of Malay Arts Group members who have made this Pentas;Rahsia a successful one. We managed to pull it through despite the short period of time due to Raya, examination and things like such. Meanwhile, have a glimpse of the ever beautiful Pentas;Rahsia show. Pictures are uploaded; mainly the ones on SNT (Thanks to Pentas's Multiply, Mariam, Izzyan and others). Also attached are the videos of the two dance pieces by the Kesenian Si Anak Tari (Thanks Izzyan!).

Our dance piece for TPRawks was on last Wednesday, 14th November 2007. Everything was good. Training after training for about one week for this Sirih Pinang dance piece was manageable.(: Us girls managed to pull everything through desptie the hectic schedule for both TPRawks and Pentas;Rahsia which falls on 14th November 2007 and 16th November 2007 respectively. Well done, girls!

Last week's picture of the Japanese show in school. Not many though. Hope these few will do. I know 87407people read my lj but can't be bothered to comment. Haha. (So a few will do lah, eh?) Everyone came to school at 7.30am and the show started at 9.30am. Still, not everyone was 100%prepared. Maybe one or two are fully done (i'm not one of them). I screwed up during the dance and I'm darn disappointed in myself. Sigh. But oh well, I did have fun somehow. And haziq belo couldn't stop saying this "Waany! Kau kudut sak. Macam anorexic" (Ni part dah bedek).
** And the song attached was the song used for our performance.
